If you are a family member or caregiver, please complete the form on the rider's behalf.

On the search form of the homepage:

  1. Enter where your ride will start in the field labeled "Traveling from".
  2. Click the "Find a Ride" button and wait for a list of providers to appear in your search results.
  3. View the transportation provider details by clicking the "More Info" button.
  4. Contact the provider that meets your needs to schedule your ride.

  • Public Transit Agency

    Agencies that operate public bus systems (mass transit) and paratransit services. Paratransit services are for individuals with special circumstances and an application is required.

  • Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC)

    Each county in Florida has a CTC who provides or coordinates transportation services for residents who are qualified for the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Program.

  • Travel Training

    When available, travel training can teach you how to use your public transportation and paratransit systems. This can include trip planning, understanding bus schedules, purchasing tickets, and paying fares.

  • Public Transportation

    These providers include public transit agencies and other transportation services provided by the local government, such as Dial a Ride/free on demand shuttles.

  • Other Transportation Providers

    These providers include services operated by private companies and organizations, such as taxis and airport shuttles.

Florida has many public transit options, but you may have questions about how to use them or about their safety. Fortunately, the Safe Mobility for Life Coalition has created a Transit Booklet containing tips and important information for safely riding with public transit services in Florida.

  • A Community Transportation Coordinator (CTC) can help determine if you qualify for low-cost or in some cases free transportation services through Florida’s Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Program.
  • If you qualify, they can help you apply for TD status to gain access to special transportation services.
  • If you are eligible and it’s available in your county, a CTC can also help you access Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit services.

  • The list of CTCs by county can be found at the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged website.

  • This program provides low-cost or free transportation services to older adults 65 and older, people with disabilities, children at risk and low-income residents who cannot provide their own transportation.
  • To learn more and apply, contact the Community Transportation Coordinator in your county.
  • The TD program is managed by the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged.
  • Visit the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged website to learn more.

  • Contact the Community Transportation Coordinator or the public transit agency for your county.
